Special Notes Regarding Training Fees

Tax Deduction - Your Shuyokan membership may be tax deductible, depending on your professional occupation. If you are, or are considering, taking self-defense lessons to make your workplace safer, or to protect yourself during business-imposed travel, your lessons may be tax deductible. As always, you should check with your tax accountant for details.

Discounts - All current students are eligible for discounts of 20% off their membership for every new student he or she brings in (up to 5 students). If a student brings in 5 new members then he or she would be able to train for free as long as those 5 students remain at the Dojo. Should one student drop out then this student would pay only 20% of the normal fees, if two students drop out he or she would pay 40% of the normal fees, and so on.

You can choose to pay your monthly dues, testing fees, and seminar fees with your credit card in the dojo office. By paying on time you will avoid late fees ($15 per incident)

If you have any questions regarding any payment amounts, or would like to discuss discount and family rates, please contact us at the Shuyokan Martial Arts Center in Costa Mesa, California.

Membership allows you to attend all classes Shuyokan offers. Can't make full use of Unlimited Classes? Contact Shuyokan for more information on purchasing prepaid blocks of training time.
