Taiho-44 Defensive Tactics for Modern Day Law Enforcement Taiho-44 - Defensive Tactics for Modern Day Law Enforcement. Taiho-44 is a unique defensive tactics system that takes techniques from the martial arts of Yoshinkan Aikido, Shotokan Karate Jutsu, Kodokan Judo-Jujitsu and Hawaiian Lua and adapts them for modern day use for law enforcement conforming to the use of force.

Samurai Cop Self-Defense Academy Samurai Cop Self-Defense Academy - The Academy offers classes in self-defense for kids 5 years to 17 years of age. The goal of the Samurai Cop Academy is to provide practical self defense training for the youth in our communities. The courses are designed to help increase the students self confidence level while learning to arm themselves with the knowledge and personal skills needed to be better prepared to face a physical confrontation.

International Yoshinkan Aikido Federation In 1990, Kancho Gozo Shioda of the International Yoshinkan Aikido Federation named Shuyokan as part of the IYAF. This was the first dojo in the United States to be so designated and the second in the world. During a visit to the United Sates, his son Yasuhisa Shioda personally presented the documentation to Sensei Dye.

Olohe Solomon Kaihewalu Sensei Dye was named Shodai Soke of Shuyokan Ryu on April 7, 2000 by the World Professional Black Belt Martial Arts Organization, Olohe Solomon Kaihewalu, Grandmaster.

Sensei Richard Milenkovich has practiced Aikido and conflict management for over twenty years. He is an Assistant Lecturer with the International Ki Society, headquartered in Japan. He holds the rank of Nidan in Shuyokan Ryu Aikijutsu and also the rank of Nidan in Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido. He is currently studying at the Shuyokan Dojo in Costa Mesa, California.
