Kote-gaeshi: A technique used to control a person by twisting the wrist outwards and applying pressure against the wrist joint breaking the subject's balance.

2nd Kyu Waza - Ikkajo And Nikajo Osae (First and Second Control)
Ikkajo: A technique used to break a subject's balance and control the shoulder, elbow and wrist movement that centers on the elbow joint.
Nikajo: A technique used to break a subject's balance and control the wrist joint by bending the arm (wrist, elbow and shoulder) in a sideways "V" in order to take the subject down to the ground.
