Aikido for Youth
General
Youth Aikido is offered to children ages 5 to 17 years old. This class is designed to teach the importance of self discipline and respect for family members, home and school. Students are instructed how to resolve conflict without turning to violence. Parents are encouraged to sit in on the classes to help reinforce these principles. A traditional white judo-gi is required for all students to attend.
Members of the Youth Aikido class are encouraged to direct their questions, comments and concerns to Sensei Dye and any member of the Yudansha-Kai (senior black belts / assistant instructors).
